Greece and Spain are two countries which experienced a great deal of  political hardship in the 20th century. One of the most prominent  examples? Military Dictatorship.  Martial law replaced democracy,  silenced freedom of speech and confined the population. Existing  research lacks a focus on the way the artistic collective documented  those dark pages in history.
