“Hi, I am Lavinia, I am a rheumatologist and a researcher and my PhD focuses on the transition from psoriasis to psoriatic arthritis” “Psoriatic What?” “Let’s go back to basics” “Mi presento questa è la mia psoriasi” (English translation – Hi, this is on my skin is my psoriasis) “Psoriasis is a heterogeneous disease affecting 2-3 % of the population, several line of therapies are available with great efficacy, however 30% of the patient, after 7-10 years develop psoriatic arthritis” “Artrite psoriasica, e queste sono le mie mani” (English translation – Psoriatic arthritis and these are my hands) “Psoriatic arthritis is a chronic disease characterized by hands or digit swelling which causes pain and functional impairment” “Dottoressa io sono a rischio di sviluppare l’artrite psoriasica?
